Pandelela Rinong is the top Malaysian female diver at the moment. She won the 2011 Sportswoman of The Year award for her strong performance in the diving world series event. Actually her high potential in the diving event started to gain the recognition when she won a gold medal at 2010 New Delhi Commonwealth Games.

Now she has a bigger task to make her country proud for another great showing at the 2012 Olympics. Who knows maybe after being selected as the Malaysian contingent's flag bearer for the London Olympics opening ceremony she will gain that extra energy and motivation to overcome the mighty Chinese diver.
